Through well-designed R&D projects, the team is focused on advancing the technology to enhance surgical accuracy, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.
At preoperative space, our research team has developed cutting-edge AI technologies capable of identifying and delineating critical brain structures in 3D. These advancements enable patient-specific surgical planning and rehearsal, offering neurosurgeons enhanced insights and precision before entering the theatre.
Supported by New Zealand’s Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment (MBIE) through the University of Auckland, we collaborate with Auckland City Hospital’s neurosurgery team, Matai Medical Research Institute, the Centre for Advanced MRI (CAMRI), leading AI industry (NVIDIA), and academic partners from the USA, UK, and Canada. Together, we are advancing cutting-edge AI applications to enhance intraoperative precision and redefine the future of neurosurgical care.
